- Siemens introduced a new business-oriented mobile phone / PDA, featuring an integrated keyboard and support for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Siemens Mobile

- The SCO Group released Version 4.1 of SCOoffice Server, an email and collaboration server for small and medium-sized organizations. - Cingular Wireless released two new wireless email solutions for businesses and independent professionals, both powered by the SEVEN wireless email system. Xpress Mail Enterprise Edition (for businesses; requires a dedicated wireless email server behind the firewall) and Xpress Mail Network Edition (for independents and small businesses) allow "secure, real-time wireless access to e-mail, Personal Information Management and other company information". - TeamScope Software released Version 3.0 of Scrubber, an add-in for Microsoft Outlook that searches for and removes duplicate contact records. "Unlike other duplicate removal tools, Scrubber merges data on a field-by-field basis, while allowing the user to override or edit any field merge if desired. Additional new features include the ability to automatically merge e-mail fields, compare the contents of two folders at once, and handle blank values and special fields such as Outlook's Categories."
