  • InfoWorld published a review of products to enable or secure instant messaging in the enterprise. Products reviewed are Akonix L7 Enterprise, FaceTime RTG500 and IM Auditor, and IMlogic IM Manager. IMlogic's product achieved the top score. InfoWorld

  • IntelliReach released Version 3.0 of MessageInsight, usage reporting and analysis tools for Novell GroupWise. New features: dynamic drill-down, export capabilities, charting and graphing, among others. Available immediately. IntelliReach

  • Web4, a division of netGuru, announced that BIW Technologies UK has partnered with Web4 to utilize Web4's expertise in collaborative document review solutions so as to enhance BIW's asynchronous and real-time collaboration facilities. netGuru

  • Google released Gmail Notifier, which alerts Gmail users of new messages. For Windows 2000 and XP. CNET News. Mac OS X 10.3 and higher users can use GmailStatus

  • iambic Inc. released Agendus Mail, an IMAP and POP email client for Palm OS-based devices, such as the Treo 600. Available immediately. TreoCentral

Updates from Shared Spaces...interesting thing about the GMail alert.  I had trouble finding it on Google's site.  I use a notifier for Firefox, so I don't think I'll download this one.
