- Adobe Systems released Adobe LiveCycle Policy Server, its digital rights management solution for PDF documents. Offers persistent control over PDF documents, enabling the setting of which rights (eg, access, print, modify, copy) specific people or groups have. - Cingular Wireless is apparently getting ready to launch a version of RIM's new smartphone, the 7100. Brighthand
- Antepo announced its intention to add publish-subscribe capabilities to its enterprise IM and presence platform, the Open Presence Network System. This will enable customers to build mechanisms for the real-time notification of events and new happenings, eg, news releases, weblog updates, network alerts, etc. to an IM client. Antepo
- Jeffrey Phillips contemplates the difference between (a) having lots of communications going on, and (b) truly listening to what others are saying.
