• Novell is backing a developer project to release a Windows version of its open-source Evolution 2 groupware product, which is currently only available in a Linux version. Evolution links to Microsoft Exchange Server. ComputerWeekly.com


• FaceTime Communications partnered with Edvance Limited, a provider of secure internet communications in Asia. Edvance is based in Hong Kong, and will resell the entire FaceTime product line. FaceTime


• FaceTime released RTG500, its network appliance for monitoring and blocking IM and P2P traffic. Available immediately. FaceTime


• C-Search Limited, a New Zealand-based Notes and Domino partner, released its name sake product for searching Notes and Domino databases across multiple Domino Servers. Enables index contents to be configured to meet specific business requirements. PRWeb
