- Eric Mack posted a podcast on delegated action management. It's an 11 minute audio briefing. Key take-away: you have to ensure that the *technology of productivity* aligns with the team's accepted *methodology of productivity*. Four points if you are going to use delegated actions: (1) discuss delegated actions with collaboration partners; (2) ensure you understand how delegated tasks work (eg, who owns it? can a delegated task be delegated to someone else?); (3) ensure that everyone understands how you will be using delegated tasks; and (4) have everyone practice delegating, accepting and declining actions. - HyperOffice announced compatibility with the Mac Safari browser within its communication and collaboration offering, the HyperOffice Intranet Suite. HyperOffice offers a hosted service consisting of business class email, shared calendars, document management, shared project management, shared contacts, and other collaborative capabilities. - Groove Networks announced a strategic alliance with CH2M HILL, for the resale of Groove Virtual Office, and the provision of support services. "CH2M HILL will include Groove as a core component of various solution offerings, including its incident management solution that is used by local, state and federal government officials to rapidly respond to natural or environmental disasters and terrorist incidents, as well as for major-event security planning."
