- Convoq has begun its push for upselling users of its free Convoq ASAP Express offering to the full ASAP Pro, which enables unlimited meetings with up to 15 participants. Initial offer: $60 off the regular annual price of $250. Convoq
- Customers of Groove Virtual Office had mixed reactions. Some thought that Microsoft/Groove will continue to offer the same sort of technologies, whereas another has reservations about investment protection. ComputerWorld
- msmobiles announced that it has heard that Microsoft will release a true push-based email add-on for Exchange in 3Q2005. The current solution is fake, because it relies on SMS notifications. Comment: given that the check book is out, Microsoft should save itself a lot of pain and buy either Good Technology (which has a mature solution that tightly integrates with Exchange) or Intellisync Corporation (which covers almost all device types, including RIM BlackBerry, via Intellisync Mobile Suite. msmobiles.com
