- Advanced Reality will release Version 2.0 of Jybe this week, its co-browsing offering for Internet Explorer and Firefox. Enables people to jointly visit Web sites, and adds the ability for joint viewing of an uploaded document or PowerPoint presentation. New integration with Skype enables an easy way of inviting others to a shared co-browsing session. Organizations can bring Jybe behind the firewall with a new Jybe Server. Network World
- NextPage released Version 1.5.3 of its namesake document collaboration service, which adds some much-needed structure and coordination around the sharing of Office documents, such as alerting users if a more recent edition of a document is available. - BT launched BT iBridge, to provide telephony integration into a Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 and Office Communicator 2005 environment. Displays the presence of people, and enables the quick establishment of voice conferences. Available immediately.
