- Microsoft, Seven Networks and Intel Corp. have filed documents in the RIM vs. NTP case. Seven and Intel side with RIM, arguing that US patents should not apply in other countries. - Longhorn Server for the Itanium processor will be designed for three specific types of tasks: databases, custom jobs, and line-of-business applications.
