- JotSpot formed the JotSpot Developer Connection, a free program for developers working with the JotSpot application wiki. Offers an open API, discussion forums, documentation, sample code and tutorials, among others. Yahoo, with coverage at InformationWeek
- Lucid8 and AfterMail announced a technology agreement for the delivery of an end-to-end email maintenance and management solution for Microsoft Exchange. Partially involves the bundling of Lucid8 GOexchange 3.1 with AfterMail's email archiving offering. Targeted at Exchange 5.5, 2000 and 2003 sites. BusinessWeek
- Messaging Architects announced an agreement with Novell, for the purchase of 1 million licenses of Novell GroupWise 7, for inclusion in a go-to-market bundle of GroupWise email, a messaging firewall, a wireless sync server, and an email policy engine for retention/storage and regulatory compliance. The latter three comes from Messaging Architects. A definitive agreement is due within 4-6 weeks.
