Wellington GEEC Dinner on Wednesday August 17

It's time for another "GEEC" dinner ... that is a Global Experts in Electronic Collaboration dinner. I'll be in Wellington (New Zealand) on Wednesday August 17 ... if you'd like to attend, please drop me a note to register interest. Time and location to be advised.

P.S. The "Experts" part ... well, it's really about a group of people interested in collaboration and collaboration technology within organisations getting together for an informal discussion. If you come, you will have one public speaking piece to do ... a 3 minute overview of why you are into collaboration. But we'll do that after dinner!

GEECing out in Boston, Jun 23

The Boston GEEC Dinner (okay, to be 100% correct, the *Cambridge* GEEC Dinner) went great tonight. Six of us met at what was Jake & Earl's (in 1997), but has since been renamed the East Coast Grill, on Cambridge Street. After a neat dinner and lots of laughing, we each shared how we became a GEEC, and in some cases a geek. Thanks to Richard, Eric, Bob, Peter and Thomas for sharing a very fun dinner. Let's do it again soon.

New York GEEC Dinner, Jun 21

We held the inaugural GEEC (Global Experts in Electronic Collaboration) dinner tonight at The Lighthouse, Pier Sixty, in New York. It was a great evening ... we laughed a great deal. After desert, we talked in turn for 3-20 minutes about how we each became a GEEC. Thanks much to the 9 other participants who joined in ... it was an *absolute delight* to meet you each.
